to the Malvern Group

 

The Malvern Local Group of the Worcestershire Wildlife Trust raises awareness of wildlife and our members are actively involved in its conservation. We do this by arranging working parties at local reserves and arranging trips, walks and ambles. We also have a programme of talks that runs from September to May. Members and non-members are warmly welcomed to our programme of indoor and outdoor events. 

On March 5th Alan Peace will talk to the group about The Barn Owl – Its Plight and The World Owl Trust. More details can be found in the indoor programme.

Members of the group visited Martin Mere on 31st January. It was an enjoyable trip despite the unpleasant weather. Some notable sightings were: a Ring Necked Duck, a Glossy Ibis and a prolonged view of a Barn Owl hunting. More trips are in the pipeline.
