WELCOME
to the Malvern Group
Worcestershire Wildlife Trust members and non-members are warmly welcomed to our programme of indoor and outdoor events. We raise awareness of wildlife and are actively involved in its conservation.
In January, the indoor meeting will be on the 16th. It is not on the usual first Thursday of the month because the Lyttleton rooms will be closed then. Eden Tanner’s talk is entitled ‘Just Scratching the Surface (Parasites)’. He is a retired veterinary surgeon with a keen life-long interest in natural history. He is Chairperson of the Ledbury Naturalist Society and an accomplished photographer of ‘all things to do with Nature’. Eden’s illustrated talk will be based on his experiences as a vet and his observations in the wild. He describes it as being ‘fascinating but not for the faint hearted!’
The meeting will be in the Lyttelton Rooms, 6, Church St, Malvern WR14 2AY. Entrance fee: adults £3.00, including refreshments. There is no chaarge for children. The fee is payable on the night at the door, cash only please. Everyone is very welcome. An outline of the whole programme is available on the What’s On page.
There’s a report of the two consecutive trips to Ardnamurchan with sightings and other infomaton. You can also read the Winter Newsletter with reports of our activities and news of future trips.
