Here are some local groups you might find interesting. Some of the Local Goup members live in Herefordshire or Gloucestershire so the Gloucestershire WT and Herefordshire WT are important to us. These WTs and Worcestershire WT all offer volunteering opportunities and the Malvern Community Forest manages a number of small local projects and also needs volunteers.
Many of us live or work in Malvern and these groups are concerned with the locality. The Malvern Hills Trust looks after the hills and the Herefordshire & Worcestershire Earth Heritage Trust is particularly concerned with the geology of the area. Transition Malvern Hills is concerned with the environment and making Malvern a greener place.
There are several special interest animal groups in the area. Try the Worcestershire Amphibian and Reptile Group or the Worcester and Malvern local group of the RSPB. It runs trips, talks and conservation projects.
