Trips for 2025

Most trips are fully booked but on the 6th August a few spaces on the trips to HiIbre Island and to Selbourne. Please contact Lyndon Knott, directly on 01905 455222. You can phone him or write to book spaces on the other two trips. Write to Lyndon Knott, Meadow View, Danes Green, Claines, Worcester WR3 7RU with a cheque made payable to WWT (Malvern Group). Please include a SAE if receipt required.

Hilbre Islands in the Dee Estuary

21 August Pick up 7:30 Cost £21

Selbourne, home of Gilbert White and nearby beech woods
30 October Pick up 7:00 Cost £21 plus the price of the entrance to Gilbert White’s House (currently £19.50). RHS members have free entrance to the gardens (but not the house) on Thursday’s. Beech woods in autumn are good places to view fungi. People are welcome to opt out of the visit to the house, provided they let Lyndon know in advance.

We are very sorry that the trips were publicised in the Winter Newsletter without a booking form. We apolgise for the inconvenience and promise it will not happen again. A booking form will be available from this website soon.
